Well, at least musically. April kicked my entire ass, physically, mentally, psychologically – like all of the ways. But in being knocked down a bit, I consumed a truly unruly amount of music, it feels. According to the Apple Music review, I plugged over 11,000 minutes in April – with highlights including underscores, Bad Bunny, and Selena.
If you’ve read my other stuff (it’s really ok if you haven’t), you’ll know I also keep a spreadsheet documenting the individual projects I listen to in their entirety throughout the month (albums, eps, mixtapes, soundtracks,etc…). I do my best, but I imagine some things get lost in their translation from my listens, to my notes, to my spreadsheet, but according to the data kept, I listened to 160 projects in April. Of those 160, 50 were previously listened to revisited; leaving 110 new listens.
